Structural furlers have been installed on racing sailboats for a long time. These structural furlers support mast loads and can entirely furl in and out headsails (such as Solent, Staysail, Genoa). This high performance system is also fitted on ocean cruising yachts for staysails.
Note : STB, STG and FLT versions are reserved for load units less than 5 tons.
STB & STG STRUCTURAL FURLERS for BOATS from 7.5 up to 10 m :
> STB / STG are wire structural furlers, light and easy to install (require a monotoron wire).
> Sails luff fitted with hanks or a zip
> Each kit model includes :
– 1 x halyard swivel with top stainless steel toggle (rotation of the wire)
– 1 x drum with S/s toggle to fit on the foredeck chain plate.
STG & STB Features :
The STG is equipped with head swivel, halyard swivel and a continuous line drum for maximum luff.
The STB is a wire structural furler, cheaper version, with a discontinuous drum and a head swivel.
FLT – FLAT DRUM STRUCTURAL FURLERS for BOATS up to 12.5 m :

> The FLT drum structural furler is compact, controled by a discontinuous line of Vectran ( ø 5 mm). The low profile mechanism offers a longer luff and its large diameter a strong furling power. It is easy to operate with the partially reduced diameter line.

Different articulating parts (bottom or top), for textile fiber structural furlers.
– Terminals : ball joint eye, diabolos, twin anchor, lashing soft eye terminal,… many other terminals.
– Switchable : the terminals are screwed into mechanisms. These articulating parts can be interchanged.
